The hotel in the centre of town was a great find. We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money and the attention to detail. The staff provided excellent service and were attentive to our needs. The basic amenities in the room, including the free WiFi, were all we needed for a comfortable stay. The king size bed was a bonus and ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfast offered a variety of options to start the day off right.

Found the hotel easily and it was in a convenient location. The receptionist was very welcoming and spoke excellent English. Breakfast had a great variety and was satisfying.

The room was a little basic, but it had everything needed. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, and there were no English channels on the TV.

Staying in an old building at the center of town added character to our trip. We enjoyed the unusual furniture, exposed stone walls at breakfast, and good Wi-Fi and TV in the room. Breakfast is an unusual experience, it includes the best croissants, and the staff is truly excellent across shifts. We parked in front of the hotel, which felt secure and had an enjoyable walk to the old center of town.

I recently stayed at an old building that has been transformed into a boutique hotel. The entrance area of Ibis Douai Center combines the lounge, bar, and reception, creating a cozy atmosphere. The staff at Ibis were incredibly helpful, suggesting local restaurants and even making reservations for us. The rooms were compact but comfortable, with ensuite facilities. The location was convenient for my business at Hôtel de Ville and within walking distance of the train station. I had a pleasant experience at Ibis.

Convenient Location and Friendly Staff

The hotel's location was very convenient for my business trip needs. It was easy to find and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for places to eat and providing me with a map of the area.

The hotel's appearance was run-down and in need of an update. The carpets were stained and the hallways had an unpleasant smell. The room was small and cramped, and the bathroom was outdated. I was disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this hotel to others.

I had business near Hôtel de Ville and needed a hotel within walking distance from the train station. Ibis was perfect for both. The staff provided a marked map and were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was comfortable and there was ample parking in front. The location was excellent and met my expectations.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.
